PHE: THE GLUELESS WOOD CEILING
The PHE (Profil Holz Elemente) system is the novelty of FBE Woodliving 2019, a brand new structural element used especially for the attic but also for walls and roofs. An exclusively glue-free product that guarantees high quality and healthiness. This attic is composed of spruce wood boards joined together by wooden pegs (also called cavicchi or dowels) (typically made of beech or any other wood with a density greater than 500 kg/m3).

Their dimensions can vary: thickness from 12 cm to 24 cm, overall width of 60 cm, and a length that can extend up to a maximum of 10 meters*.

The aesthetic effect is immediately reminiscent of a design suitable for modern buildings, the boards of which can alternate from 2 to 6 cm thick; in addition, it is possible to execute panels with boards of varying heights, which allows for an aesthetic and sound-absorbing rhythm.

PHE profile floors are unique not only for their glueless naturalness and construction quality, but also for their aesthetic presentation: the spacing and depth of the exposed boards can vary or be adapted according to the client's preferences, resulting in an elegant and personal visual rhythm.
