Electro-Pro is a new generation electric Active Mass Damper system for the control of seismic response, that protects the structure and avoids damages generated by earthquakes.
Electro-Pro is made up of fully electric machines, equipped with linear synchronous motors with permanent magnets. The system “counteracts” the oscillation of the structure thanks to a major dampening effect, given by the force that each installed machine generates. The amount of forces to be generated is calculated in real time by control algorithms, which elaborate the acceleration data sampled by sensors installed on appropriate points of the structure.
