XVS is a videogrammetric scanner based on Visual SLAM technology.
The system integrates two cameras and an inertial measurement unit (IMU).
A camera with 5-megapixel resolution and global shutter sensor ensures that, despite motion acquisition, there is no distortion in the final image.
The second vSLAM camera and the IMU system ensure that field acquisition takes place in such a way that the processed data is of high quality, ensuring complete final models without processing errors.
The solution includes a cloud processing system that provides an intelligent automatic image selection algorithm based on multiple factors: object distance, user speed, image matching, etc.
Due to its characteristics, XVS works very well with heterogeneous textures, which is why the main fields of application include archaeology, construction, architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning, accident reconstruction, and geology.
